Each year our class takes a field trip to Abernethy Acres. The students take pony rides on Spike the Wonder Pony, meet the special Chincoteague Pony "Sweetheart", swim, hike, play in the creek, explore nature, make a bonfire, roast marshmallows, and eat a picnic lunch.
